I have been a proud resident of Kitchener Centre for nearly 40 years. Alongside my husband, Paul, and our teenage son, Mackenzie, I have grown personally and professionally by fostering strong community partnerships.
With roots in the Egyptian Coptic Orthodox community, I have been especially dedicated to initiatives that embrace this city's diversity. I'm particularly grateful for the wealth of opportunities I've had to volunteer with organizations that help our community's most vulnerable members, including the House of Friendship, MS Society, Immigration Partnership, and Zonta International.
Kitchener always remained my central focus while working for the provincial and federal governments. As a constituency agent for MPP Michael Harris, I gained in-depth knowledge of how our residents access and utilize essential public services. I further relied on this experience while serving Hon. Diane Finley, a Federal Minister responsible for Southwestern Ontario and Minister of Humans Resources and Skills Development. As her special assistant, I developed a keen understanding of how wider economic and social trends impact the Region of Waterloo.
As the Progressive Conservative Candidate for Kitchener Centre, I will work tirelessly, with my fellow party candidates, to ensure that all individuals and families benefit from economic opportunity and accountable government.
